[Título 3]

WHAT FOREIGNERS WHO LIVE IN THE UK THINK

[Texto 1]

Asil, 41, was born in Turkey. He has a restaurant in cardiff.

[Texto 2]

In Turkey people work hard and our jobs are very important for us. The British don’t work that much. They just want to finish work and return home.

[Texto 1]

Abbud, 35, was born in Iraq. He lives in Newcastle.

[Texto 2]

The weather changes a lot here. One minute it rains and the next it’s sunny and hot. And the food is really terrible. All they eat is potatoes!

[Texto 1]

Adrienne, 21, was born in France. He lives in Manchester.

[Texto 2]

British people are very nice. People I don’t know call me “honey”, “dearie, and “love”. I love it!

[Texto 1]

Shamara, 19, was born in Oman. She lives in Liverpool.

[Texto 2]

Women in the UK are really free. Where I’m from, I need to take my brother wherever I go so he can do everything for me. Here I can do everything alone. The weather is also very nice. I like that it changes very quickly. The people are also friendly.

[Texto 1]

Sarah, 51, was born in The USA. She lives in London.

[Texto 2]

What I like most about Britain is Toad in the Hole. We don’t usually have toad in the hole in The US. Everyone says British food is bad, but I love it. There are great shops here, too.

[Texto 1]

Xiu Ying, 28, was born in China. She lives in Liverpool.

[Texto 2]

I like many things about Britain: the culture, the history, the art… I love the UK. There are beautiful landscapes in many parts of the country. What I don’t like about here is the weather and the food. I hate Bangers and Mash.
