2. Have you ever proposed / been proposed to marriage? If not, have you ever seen this kind of proposal on TV or in real life? Tell the class

3.   Watch the video from step 1 again. Did Joey propose to Rachel? Explain what happened that created such confusion.

4. Take turns to ask and answer the following questions. Explain your answers.

  • Have you ever fallen asleep in the cinema?
  • Have you ever had an accident?
  • Have you ever slept until 5 pm?
  • Have you ever tried to cut your own hair?
  • Have you ever lied to get a job?
  • Have you ever regifted something that was gifted to you?
  • Have you ever given a stranger a fake phone number?
  • Have you ever met someone famous?

5. Ask your teacher/classmate some more questions using “Have you ever…? Ask for more information.

  1. Have you ever read a complete book in English?
  2. Yes, I have. I read “Les Miserables” by Victor Hugo. It was a really long book.
