Look at the words in blue in the text in step 1. What do they have in common?

Use…

Look at these examples:

• I will take everything to get better. (all things)
• I will take something to get better. (1 thing, we don’t say or know what)
• I will take anything to get better. (1 or more things, no matter what)
• I will take nothing to get better. (0 things)

• Let’s go everywhere. (to all places)
• Let’s go somewhere. (to 1 place, we don’t say or know where)
• Let’s go anywhere. (to 1 or more places, no matter where)
• Let’s go nowhere. (to 0 places)

• I saw everybody at the door. (all the people)
• I saw somebody at the door. (1  person, we don’t say or know who)
• I didn’t see anybody at the door. (0 people)
• I saw nobody at the door. (0 people)
