2. Have you ever moved to a different city? What did you do to feel more “at home”? Did you explore the places and stores in the first weeks? Tell the class.

3. Listen to the description from step 1. Answer the questions.

1. Where has she lived before moving to New York?
2. Which places has she visited?
3. What did she do yesterday?
4. What is she going to do next week?

4. Imagine that someone has recently moved to your city. Write a similar description to the one in step 1. Use the questions in exercise 3 as a guide.

5. Answer the questions:

1. Were you busy yesterday? What did you do?
2. What tasks do/did you have for today?
3. What have you already done?
4. What haven’t you done yet?
