5. Shopping List Game. Write down the last 6 food items you bought. Try to guess which 6 foods are on your partner’s list.

6. Read the dialogue again. This time you choose the food and the quantities. Remember to use determiners (some, any, many, a little, etc).
Man: What were you doing?
Woman: I was eating SWEET FOOD 1.
Man: Why didn’t you bring me some? I want SWEET FOOD 1 too.
Woman: I think there were SWEET FOOD 1 left in the kitchen.
Man: Let’s see… No, there aren’t SWEET FOOD 1 . Were there FRUIT 1 or FRUIT 2 in the fruit basket in the dining room?
Woman: I think there wasn’t any fruit. But I’m sure there were SALTY FOOD 1 in the fridge. Maybe you can have SALTY FOOD 1.
Man: I don’t want to eat SALTY FOOD 1. I‘m hungry for something sweet. I think I saw SWEET FOOD 2 in the fridge…
Woman: You can’t have that SWEET FOOD 2. It’s for dessert.
Man: Oh… Alright.
Woman: I think there was SWEET FOOD 3 in the fridge.
Man: Really? Yes! There is SWEET FOOD 2! You’ve saved my life! Mmm, yummy!
Woman: Don’t eat it all! I want some too!
